Chapter 1

Just a week after my husband's death, my father-in-law was forcing me to have an abortion.

"My son had azoospermia. Get rid of that bastard in your belly and get out!" he shouted.

"You're the one at fault here. You have no right to inherit my son's estate!"

I looked at my mother-in-law standing beside him, constantly retching.

I clutched the medical report I had just received tightly in my hand. It was clear who actually had azoospermia.

So where did my husband's and mother-in-law's fetuses come from?

"Tell me, where did that bastard in your belly come from?" my father-in-law demanded.

"How shameless! How could our family end up with such a promiscuous woman!"

As soon as I opened the door, my father-in-law rushed in and slapped me hard across the face twice.

"Bring out your lover right now. I'll kill him today!"

My father-in-law's eyes were bloodshot as he violently shook my shoulders, interrogating me.

I was stunned by the slaps and took a while to react.

"Dad, what's wrong with you?" I finally managed to ask.

My father-in-law let go of me and started rummaging through the house:

"My son had azoospermia. How could you possibly be pregnant with his child?"

"Oh, my poor son! His body isn't even cold yet, and he's already wearing such a big green hat!"

My vision went dark for a moment before I opened my mouth to explain: "That's impossible. Jack was perfectly healthy. He definitely didn't have azoospermia!"

My father-in-law was so angry he was panting heavily: "You... you're talking nonsense!"

"It's written in black and white. I'm not blind!"

I clutched the medical report in my hand tightly, unsure of how to begin explaining.
