To Fulfill Her Lover's Desire to Become Vice President, My Wife Pretends She Had Amnesia. I Took the Initiative to Quit My Job.

To help her lover, Jack Anderson, become the vice president, my wife Ruby Hayes pretended to have amnesia after a car accident, planning to take my position, Matthew Jacobs.

One day, I overheard their conversation as I passed by. Jack asked Ruby, "Aren't you worried Matthew Jacobs will never speak to you again after this?"

Ruby brushed him off, saying, "I'll only let him play this game for seven days. After that, I'll just tell him my memory came back. How could he blame a patient for that?"

I paused, but I didn't expose her lie.
