It was my second day at the company, which happened to be the day they announced who got the full-time offer after our internship.

The moment I stepped into the office, I heard Elena Vance crying hysterically.

"This is bullshit! I worked my ass off for three months, and she just shows up yesterday and steals the only full-time position?!"

I sensed something was off. Frowning, I asked, "Who stole your position?"

Elena immediately splashed a cup of water right onto my face. She glared at me with pure hatred. "You have the nerve to ask? Everyone in this department knew that job was mine. But the moment you showed up, the manager told me I was out!"

Our coworkers chimed in, pointing fingers at me.

"We all saw how hard Elena worked. That full-time offer should be hers!"

"A nepo baby dropping in out of nowhere to steal someone else's hard work? Have some shame!"

I pointed at myself, my mind filled with question marks.

Are these people insane?
