Chapter 2

Mia was unharmed.

When she returned from the hospital, I was sitting on the living room floor folding Lucas's underwear.

She sat down beside me, "Lily, what exactly is your relationship with Lucas?"

I didn't look up, "Didn't Lucas tell you?"

"He said you're his sister."

I smiled, "We don't even have the same last name."

"So, what is your relationship really?"

I frowned at her, "Why don't you go ask him?"

Mia really has a bad temper.

She got angry again and slapped me.

"Lily, I'm already pregnant and about to marry your brother. You'd better behave yourself!"

I fell to the ground awkwardly, unable to recover for a while.

When I was finally able to move, I held my head and whimpered.

I guess that sound reminded her of what Lucas and I had done last night.

She grabbed my shoulders frantically, shaking me violently and demanding to know what it would take for me to leave this family.

I thought to myself, you really are clueless.

Because Lucas was about to discover that she was bullying me.

Sure enough, Lucas's voice rang out in the living room, "Mia, what are you doing?!"

Mia was startled and let go of me, looking around in confusion, but not seeing Lucas anywhere.

I weakly raised my hand and pointed to the cabinet in the corner.

Mia's face changed color, "Lily, you set me up?"

There was a surveillance camera there, connected to Lucas's phone.

I chuckled softly, "Yes, I set you up. What are you going to do about it?"

Mia fled upstairs in a panic.

I waved at the surveillance camera, "Brother, it seems your girlfriend doesn't like me very much..."

Then I collapsed, "fainting".
