The Mountains Greet Me Just As I Am

My mother, pitying my seven-year unrequited love, got our adopted brother drunk and locked him in my room.

The next day, photos of Blake Sullivan and me in bed went viral. He proposed to me with a cold face.

The wedding reception ended hastily, and he retreated to the mountains to meditate. He only agreed to return when our daughter turned five.

Our daughter, eager to see her father, insisted on going up the mountain to meet him.

Olivia Winters, lying in his arms, saw the daughter who was a spitting image of Blake. Heartbroken, she left but accidentally fell off the cliff.
