1. Tamar was a prostitute and had only survived on the street of Johannesburg

2. During one of her outing to her ,she Lodge with a man at a hotel, Claire. She soon found out that she was pregnant and opted for an abortion.

3. That night as Tamar slept after thinking of a way out to terminate the child or to nurse her inorder to use her to make money if she was a girl.
