My Cousin's Wife Despises on Me

The day I received a mind-link informing me I was part of the delegation to the allied pack, Bridget—my cousin’s wife—announced she was pregnant. The whole family was celebrating, until Bridget suddenly dropped a bombshell.

“Since you’ll be away with the delegation, and we’re expecting... we thought it might be a good idea if... well, if you moved out of the townhouse.”

The room fell silent.

Bridget stepped closer, her expression annoyingly sympathetic. “Just move out, Luann,” she added, her voice dripping with fake concern. “You can’t freeload here forever.”
