I Faked a Pregnancy to Escape My Boss's Exploitation, But He Showed Up Offering to Be My Baby's Free Daddy

"Boss, I'm pregnant."

My hand jerked, causing the pen to leave a long streak across the A4 paper.

"What did you say?"

Alexander's Perspective

I, Alexander, am a CEO worth billions.

One minute ago, my assistant submitted her resignation, citing pregnancy as the reason. She wanted to go home and have her baby.

I couldn't wrap my head around it. How could she be pregnant?

Was it because I wasn't giving her enough work?

She was practically tied to me 24/7. Apart from eating and sleeping, we were hardly ever apart. Where on earth did she find the time to get pregnant?
