Hello, I Want a Divorce!

I pulled Beta Kirk closer to my face, tracing his jawline before leaning in to kiss him. The kiss lasted long and deliberate, and I made sure George—my mate, my husband—saw it with his own eyes.

When my lips finally parted from the Beta's, George was already walking toward us. The pain in his eyes was undeniable that I could see his heart breaking into pieces through it.

That was exactly what I wanted.

"You've broken my heart again. Why, Scarlet?" He asked, his voice filled with anguish.

I didn't respond.
